The Trace Elliot AH1000-12 Bass Guitar Amplifier Head offers six footswitchable features that include Pre Shape (for that classic Trace sound), Valve (to add valve warmth or overdrive), 12-band classic Trace Elliot Graphic Equalizer, dual-band soft-knee Compressor with separate controls for the High and Low bands, sophisticated effects loop (hi-pass/lo-pass/full-range outputs, left/right/mono returns, series/parallel switch, loop level control), and output Mute (mutes all outputs except Tuner Out).

The Trace Elliot AH1000-12 Bass Guitar Amplifier Head other features include electronically balanced XLR DI outputs for pre-EQ and post-preamp left and right, left and right Line Outputs, and two valve/tube driver stages for signal preconditioning before the power stage.
